LusoQuest was created with the desire to unite the Lusitano horse with the Scandinavian people, as LQ’s personal belief is that everyone deserves to experience a Lusitano, and even better, to own one!

What I can contribute is my experience with the Lusitano, as I have owned one for several years, personal experience from the farm where the sales horses come from, and direct contact with the breeder today. All of this helps to ensure security and transparency in your purchase, something I place great importance on.

The Lusitano is making its mark on the world, but the gap between admiring this breed and purchasing one is one we wish to narrow or close entirely by matching the right owner with the right horse.

We do this by reviewing our wide and diverse collection of horses for sale and matching them with the right owner through expectation alignment, good communication, presentation via videos, pictures, private test rides, and finally, a controlled veterinary check. We are, of course, happy to assist with everything from documents and veterinary checks to referrals to transport companies.

LusoQuest works explicitly with the farm Coudelaria Quinta Oliveria and its owner, Nuno Oliveria, who is located in Portugal (20 minutes outside Porto).
